 Cop Chats was founded by a 13-year law enforcement veteran who has served in patrol, investigations, narcotics, and as a School Resource Officer in Tennessee. Over more than a decade in uniform, he saw firsthand how powerful a simple conversation could be — and how few opportunities people truly have to talk openly with the men and women behind the badge.

Cop Chats was built to change that.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community through honest, one-on-one conversation, mentorship, and preparation. Whether it’s a young person looking for guidance, an aspiring officer preparing for an interview, or a parent trying to help their child find direction — Cop Chats creates a safe, respectful space to connect with real officers who care.

Through secure video calls, participants can ask questions, seek advice, and learn from experienced professionals who have sat in the seat, walked the beat, and lived the calling. Each conversation is designed to educate, encourage, and empower.

Cop Chats also partners with local businesses to fund mentorship hours for students in need of positive role models. Every sponsored chat provides an opportunity for growth, guidance, and understanding — one conversation at a time.
